Chris Charles, LISD Trustee District 4 I am Chris Charles, a father of a third grader at Clear Fork Elementary and current board member of Lockhart ISD. Please send concerns my way.

(District 4) I back teachers, promote funding schools, and support safe learning environments for our students. My name is Chris Charles and I’m a father of a third grader at Clearfork Elementary. I have lived in Lockhart for over 8 years, and I’m proud to call this my home. I believe in a safe learning environment in and out of the classroom; the safety of our kids will always be my top priority.

I will make sure that school overcrowding and classroom disruptions are kept to a minimum. I will make sure students have proper nutrition to carry them through the day. I will also make sure high school students have a diverse curriculum for better career opportunities. Please feel free to email or message me any of your concerns. A little groundbreaking today at Juniper Springs today. The Wildflower development will create affordable rental homes for the school district that LISD teachers and staff can sign up for. Not only will it be affordable for teachers and staff, it will also allow them to be a part of the Lockhart community instead of commuting from other areas outside of Lockhart.
