Last night didn’t end the way we hoped, but I woke up this morning with a grateful heart.

There are so many people who gave a piece of themselves to this campaign. You knocked on doors, held signs in the heat, made phone calls, put signs in your yards, donated, prayed for us, shared our message, and encouraged me on the days when I needed it most. Some of you were there from the very beginning, and others joined us along the way. Every single one of you mattered.

To my family, friends, volunteers, supporters, and everyone who trusted me with their vote, thank you. I will never be able to fully repay the time, hard work, and faith you put into me and this campaign.

I gave this race everything I had, and I can walk away knowing we left it all on the field. But I have learned enough in life to know that our plans are not always God’s plans.

I still believe in the future of this district and the people who call it home. My hope is that we continue moving forward together, that our communities are heard, and that the people of this district have every opportunity to succeed. I will always be rooting for that.

This chapter may be over, but I truly believe there is another one waiting to be written. I do not know exactly what the next big thing will be yet, but I know I will meet it the same way I have tried to meet everything else in my life: work hard, keep my faith, serve others, and keep moving forward.

Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for standing beside me. And most of all, thank you for making this journey one I will never forget.

On to the next big thing. God is good, and the best is yet to come.

I can’t thank our volunteers enough for being out across the district today, holding signs at voting locations and representing our campaign.

It’s hot, it’s a long day, and nobody has to be out there. They’re doing it because they believe in what we’re working for and have been willing to put in the time to help us see it through.

Thank you for standing at voting locations all across the district. To those who have been with us through the long days, the door knocking, the events, and everything in between are still out there giving it their all. Thank you again!

Tomorrow is Election Day.

I’ve caught myself thinking a lot tonight about this whole journey and, really, about where it all started.

Home.

I grew up in North Florida raising livestock, showing animals, working with my hands, and learning pretty early that if I wanted something, I had to work for it. I probably didn’t realize it back then, but those days taught me a lot about responsibility, hard work, and sticking with something even when it gets tough.

Those lessons followed me to Florida Gateway College, then to the University of Florida, and into public service.

I’ve had the chance to do some things and meet some people I never would have imagined growing up. But no matter where I went or what job I had, this place was always home.

And this campaign has reminded me of that more than anything.

For months, I’ve been driving these roads, knocking on doors, holding signs, visiting businesses, sitting down with families, and just listening to people. We’ve talked about roads and schools, farming, public safety, taxes, growth, and plenty of other things.

But underneath a lot of those conversations was something pretty simple.

People love this place, and they want to keep it a place where their kids and grandkids can build a good life too.

I understand that because I feel the exact same way.

That is why this has always meant so much more to me than a title. It is about giving something back to the communities that raised me, shaped me, and gave me opportunities I will never take for granted.

And I cannot say thank you enough to the people who have been part of this journey.

If you prayed for me, encouraged me, knocked a door, held a sign, made a phone call, shared a post, talked to a neighbor, or simply stopped me somewhere to say hello, thank you. I mean that.

Tomorrow, the voters decide.

Tonight, I’m just thankful.

Thankful for where I come from. Thankful for everyone who has stood beside me. And thankful I got the chance to make this journey with all of you.

Tomorrow, we finish this journey together. And I could not be more grateful for the people and the place that made me who I am.

This campaign may have my name on the signs, but the heart of it has always been the people who keep showing up.

To every volunteer who has held a sign, knocked on doors in the heat, made calls, put out signs, talked to neighbors, or simply asked how they could help, thank you.

You have given your time, energy, weekends, and time away from your families because you believe in this campaign and in our communities. I will never take that for granted.

Some of the moments I will remember most are the simple ones, working side by side, laughing, sweating, and pushing through one more door or one more hour on the roadside.

When I look back on this race, I will remember the people who showed up, stood beside me, and gave it everything they had. 🇺🇸

Today is the LAST DAY of Early Voting! 🗳️

If you haven’t voted yet, make a plan and get to the polls today. Every vote matters, and the future of our communities is worth showing up for.

I’m running to make sure our communities get their fair share. That means solid roads, strong schools, support for law enforcement and first responders, real property tax relief, protection for our farmers and rural way of life, and smart growth that does not sacrifice what makes our communities special. Most importantly, I will make sure House District 10 has a strong voice in Tallahassee that knows this district and will fight for it every single day.

It's funny how a box full of envelopes can take you back years.

Each of these envelopes came from young livestock exhibitors whose projects I had the privilege of supporting personally. I’ve kept them because I remember being the kid on the other side.

I remember raising livestock, getting attached to them, putting in the work when nobody was watching, hauling to the fair, stepping into the show ring, and hoping somebody believed enough in what I was doing to support me.

Back then, I probably didn’t fully understand how much those people were doing for me. I understand now.

Those projects helped shape my work ethic. They taught me responsibility, patience, disappointment, pride, and the value of earning something for yourself. A lot of who I am today can be traced back to barns, livestock, 4-H, and FFA.

So when I get the chance to support a kid doing the same thing, I remember exactly what it felt like to be in their boots.

To all the kids who wrote me: I probably should be the one sending the thank-you notes. Thank you for working hard, carrying on a way of life that means so much to our communities, and reminding me where much of my own story began.

I’ll keep showing up for you just like people showed up for me!

The Second Amendment isn’t just something I talk about during campaign season. It’s something I believe in, practice, and will always defend.

I’m proud to have earned an “Aq” rating from the NRA-PVF, the highest possible rating for a non-incumbent candidate.

I’m a lifelong gun owner, hunter, and strong supporter of our constitutional right to keep and bear arms. In Tallahassee, I’ll stand firm against efforts to chip away at those freedoms and fight to protect the rights of law-abiding Floridians.

Our rights aren’t negotiable. I’ll defend them. 🇺🇸

Trust is earned, and I don’t take it for granted.

I’m grateful for the elected officials, sheriffs, first responders, community leaders, and organizations across House District 10 and throughout Florida who have put their name behind me and placed their trust in my leadership.

In a campaign, character matters. Judgment matters. Experience matters. So does your record, the work you’ve done, the decisions you’ve made, and the people who know you well enough to stand beside you.

These endorsements weren’t built overnight. They come from years of relationships, public service, hard work, and showing up when it mattered.

From law enforcement and firefighters to farmers, small businesses, local officials, and conservative leaders, I’m proud of the broad coalition standing with us.

Early voting is underway, and this election is about who you trust to fight for our communities in Tallahassee.

I’ve been clear about where I stand:

🍎 Support our teachers, strengthen our public schools, defend school choice, and make sure parents remain in control of their children’s education
🔨 Expand career and technical education so students have real opportunities after graduation
🌲 Protect our land, water, and natural resources for the next generation

Most importantly, I’ll fight to make sure our communities have a strong voice in Tallahassee and that rural Florida is never treated like an afterthought.
