Madison Boroughs 2nd annual cleanup! Saturday, May 16th. at 9am. We will meet at the Madison Firehall. We will provide vests, gloves, bags and everything needed to go throughout town cleaning up trash along all roadways. Come on out if your available!!☺️

Dear Madison Borough Residents,

We are aware of the issue today with many residences not getting garbage picked up.

With the change from Bankosh Sanitation LLC to ProWaste LLC, there was a 1 month billing cycle left prior to the new company taking over on May 1, 2026. This is the $20.51 bill you should have all received via email or mail. These bills were mailed out on April 8, 2026.

If you have made payment electronically or mailed in your payment for April, please contact Bankosh Sanitation LLC directly at 724-461-4185.

Good evening Madison! 😊 Update on our garbage service here within the Borough. We have approved a NEW garbage service for Madison Borough. Bankosh will be picking up garbage this Friday for the last time and the New Company, PRO Waste will beging next week. The date for garbage pick up will change. The new date for all garbage pick up within the Borough will now be on Monday mornings starting at 6-6:30am. Each household will start receiving a new bill from PRO Waste and Landlords will be receiving information on billing for each rental unit. PRO Waste does offer one large item per week pickup also. And a reminder, per Borough ordinance, ALL garbage must be place in garbage containers until garbage day. Please dont let out a pile of garbage all week. We dont want any critters getting into you trash and making a mess for you.

Mark it on your calendars!! Its Madison Boroughs 150th Celebration Aug. 14th, 15th and 16th.!! Come out and join in on the fun! A great weekend of events for every one in our great little community and surrounding communities! We will have a full list and itinerary in the weeks to come. Parade, fireworks, games, car show, square dancing, tractor pulls, vendors, craft show and great food!!! Will be an amazing time to spend w friends and neighbors. 😊🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

Its getting close to our little towns 150th year celebration! Madison Borough will be celebrating our 150th year as a Borough this year. We would like to have the help of the community in planning and volunteering for the celebration we will have later this summer. Parade, food, events, car show and maybe even mini tractor pulls. These are all things we are currently working on getting together and would love the communities input and ideas. Please come to the meeting where we will be discussing these and setting dates and times into place. Hope to see you all there! 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
