❤️💛💚 Hispanic Heritage Month

Did you know Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15 to October 15 because it coincides with the independence anniversaries of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Mexico?

What began as Hispanic Heritage Week in 1968 grew into the month-long celebration we know today. But heritage has always lived beyond a calendar date, carried through family traditions, food, music, language, faith, and stories passed down through generations.

This month, The Salvation Army of Dane County got to celebrate the richness of cultures that continue to shape our communities every day.

Thank you Engagement Team for Honoring the past. Celebrating the present. Building the future. Con orgullo. ❤️

May we live in God's presence continually by building a daily rhythm of trust, prayer, and obedience. He alone will be our true home, safety, and rest. Let's cling to this statement of trust!
