A massive fire broke out at a future DPW building near near S. 53rd Street and W. Rogers Avenue just before 11 a.m. on Thursday with several construction workers still on the building's roof as the fire grew. More in our link in comments.

I had a great time touring the Aurora West Allis Hospital with my friend Representative Angelito Tenorio. We are so lucky to have one of the largest birthing centers in Wisconsin here in our community. I look forward to working with my colleagues and the industry to tackle medical affordability and access.

On Monday I joined over a dozen Milwaukee Brewers, local leaders, and Forward Latino to kick off a supply drive called United for Venezuela to send resources to the nation after they were devastated by two earthquakes in less than 5 minutes.

Last month, the WI Public Service Commission took a commendable step to shield We Energies residential customers from the massive infrastructure costs associated with new data centers. Unfortunately, tech giant Oracle has already filed a lawsuit to overturn these vital consumer protections.

This situation highlights a recurring issue: large corporations attempting to shift their operational costs onto everyday ratepayers.

Supporting policies that hold Big Tech and for-profit utilities financially accountable remains a critical priority and I support all reasonable efforts to do so.
