I would like to take a moment to thank the citizens of Monroe County for electing me four years ago to serve our county as the Circuit Court Clerk. My staff and I take great pride in this service and work hard to serve each person who contacts or comes into the office. Running an efficient, trustworthy, and conservative office is what each of you gave me the opportunity to do four years ago and I have taken that trust very seriously. With election day tomorrow I would like to humbly ask for your complimentary vote. I hope the fact that I do not have an opponent means that each of you are satisfied with the service that the office of the Circuit Court Clerk has provided and I am honored to have the opportunity to do so for another four years. Please know that my staff and I will be dedicated to serving Monroe County citizens and GIVE OUR ALL FOR MONROE COUNTY EVERY DAY. Monroe County General Sessions Court will be on a 2 hour delay Tuesday January 27.

Monroe County Government offices and Solid Waste Convenience Centers will be closed today Monday January 26 and will reopen on a two hour delay Tuesday January 27.

Protecting our employees and clients are top priority in our daily operations. Thank you for patience and support and please exercise caution today and tomorrow!

Monroe County residents,

I’ve had several calls today about people getting calls about jury duty saying they had not shown up last week and needed to pay a $4200 fine or turn themselves into the jail . This is a SCAM! I nor anybody else with my office or the sheriff dept will CALL you about not showing up for jury duty.

Jury notices are selected at random from your drivers license number or state ID number from the DMV . That’s where we get your address to send you a LETTER for jury duty . If you have gotten a LETTER and have questions please call the office at 423 442 9537.

If someone calls you and says anything about jury duty simply hangup! No one will EVER call asking for money for jury duty !
