Your chamber of commerce does not endorse political speakers but serves as a neutral convener that connects the business community and voters with the people running for public office. The Magee Police Department will be conducting an enforcement blitz throughout the city.

Our officers will be out in increased numbers focusing on speeding, reckless driving, impaired driving, seat belt violations, distracted driving, and other dangerous violations that put people at risk.

This is not about writing as many tickets as possible. It is about keeping our roads safe and preventing someone from getting seriously hurt or killed.

If you are driving through Magee, slow down, buckle up, stay off your phone, and do not drive impaired.

We have said it before, and we will continue to say it: public safety is our top priority.

Drive safe and handle your business accordingly.

UMMC School of Dentistry will host its annual Dental Mission Week/Give Kids A Smile 2027, February 1–5, 2027.
Patient treatment is scheduled for February 2–4, with Give Kids A Smile Day recognized nationally on February 5.
