LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF
There is only one candidate on the ballot for three open trustee positions on the Oregon Village Board. I decided to run because I believe it's better when our officials are elected rather than selected. I have lived in Oregon for 26 years. I am in a very tight-knit, walkable neighborhood where people socialize and help each other out. I can't imagine living anywhere else.
Now, it’s my time to step up and give back to Oregon. Retain the small town feel and historic nature of Oregon, while building for a successful and sustainable future – new library, village hall, senior center, bike paths, parks, and planned growth.
2. Development that strengthens our neighborhoods and historic downtown.
3. Sustainable planning that prepares for a changing environment.
4. Open, inclusive government that engages our community and partners.
5. Development of options for affordable housing and public transit.
6. Fiscally responsible budgets that hold taxes in check and help people thrive. BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
