Heads Up Webberville Residents and Businesses!

Construction on South Main Street between Grand River and Chestnut starts Monday. At that time Parking lot behind the Pharmacy and Parking lot on North Main Street will be closed: Below is the tentative schedule, but may be subject to change with weather delays.

April 13th - Mill Roadway and Parking Lots
April 14th-21st - Begin Watermain work
April 16th - 22nd - Concrete
April 23rd-26th - Fine Grading and Agg Base
April 29th - Base Course
April 30th - Surface Course
May 1st - 5th - Pavement Markings

The crew with Reith-Riley will try to limit impact to the local businesses, and accommodate where they can during construction.

💧 Water Service Restored – Village of Webberville 💧

Water service has been restored following the earlier water main break. Fire hydrants in the affected areas have been flushed.

If you notice cloudy or discolored water, please run cold water in your bathtub for several minutes until the water clears. This helps flush any remaining air or sediment from your household lines.

🚨 Water Main Break Notice – Village of Webberville 🚨
The Village of Webberville is currently responding to a water main break at the corner of Cherry Street and North Howard Street.

🔧 Affected Areas:
• Cherry Street west of Summit Street (200 block of Cherry)
• Howard Street south of Beech Street (200–300 blocks)

Residents in these areas may experience low water pressure or temporary water service interruption while repairs are being made.

Crews are on site working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

There has been an uptick in counterfeit currency cases.
Counterfeit bills are not only a concern for businesses, but also for anyone making cash transactions at secondhand, community marketplaces, such as Facebook Marketplace.

Here is a short guide to quickly identify counterfeit bills.

The texture of the bill may feel waxy or strange compared to a legitimate bill.

On the right side, counterfeit bills will say "MOTION PICTURE PURPOSES," instead of "THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," in a similar letter font and style.

In the line across the top of the bill, counterfeit bills will say "REPLICA" instead of "RESERVE," in a similar font and style.

On the lower left, counterfeit bills will say, "This is not legal, it is to be used for motion pictures," with a fake signature, which then says, "Not the real secretary." Legitimate bills will say "This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private."
