We need some help. This dog was taken into run custody last night for safe keeping after left being chained in a yard in cold weather. We were able to locate the person responsible but they have no way of caring for the dog since it was left with them.
If you are interested in fostering this dog or would like to possibly have him please contact us. The owner voluntarily surrendered him.

Shout out to our K-9 Drac and his handler. Saturday night around 11:00 PM, he assisted Tallmadge PD with a mutual aid K-9 assist and they were able to locate approximately an ounce of m**h and paraphernalia in a vehicle.

The Department is in the process of updating the list of residence that have cameras on their property. If you are interested in registering with us please contact us at the office. This is on a voluntarily basis. Knowing where cameras are located in the Village has helped us resolve issues quickly in the past an assists with investigations.

With all the snow today please keep I mind to keep your vehicles parked in your driveway . Snow restrictions are in effect and will be enforced . We need to make sure the Road Dept can keep the streets clear . Thanks for your cooperation.

We just wanted to thank the Road Dept for their hard work . The main roads are pretty clear and I’m sure they will be hitting the side roads next . It’s a hard job keeping up with the snow when it comes down that quickly .
Keep in mind the roads are still slippery. If you must venture out please use caution.
