🚨 Dove hunters, take note before you aim at birds perched on power lines. Attached to many of those same poles are fiber optic lines that deliver internet, phone, and emergency communication service to homes and businesses across the community. A stray birdshot pellet can nick or sever those lines, cutting off service for neighbors who depend on it. Choose a safer line of sight this season and keep our information flowing.

This year the PROPEL Community Fund was proud to award a $2,000 grant to the Baldwyn Boys & Girls Club to support Fillin’ the Gap – Moving Mississippi Youth Forward.

The grant helps provide local youth with hot meals, healthy snacks, caring mentors, academic support and a safe place to learn, grow and have fun throughout the summer.

Because when we give young people the support they need today, we help build a stronger community for tomorrow.
