The City of Taylorville’s annual 4th of July Fireworks Show has been a long-standing tradition for our community. Unfortunately, due to rising costs and limited funding, this year’s fireworks display may not happen without community support.
We are asking residents, families, and local businesses to help keep this tradition alive.
💥 Every donation — big or small — makes a difference!

NOTICE FROM THE WATER DEPARTMENT REGARDING 2/15/26 BILLS

We have received many phone calls about customers not receiving their 2/15/26 bills in the mail still. We took the bills to the post office the same time we do every month, which was the morning of Friday, January 23. We called the post office the morning of 2/2/26 to see why no one has been receiving their bills in the mail yet. The post office informed us that they send their mail to a sorting center in another town and have not received the bills back from the sorting center yet. We apologize for the delay and confusion, but the bills are still due on 2/15/26. If you are needing to know how much is due, please call the Water Collections office at 217–8 24–2919 and we are more than happy to look up your account for you.

There are options for payments, you can make a one time payment on Taylorville.net select EPay option, you can sign up for auto draft, or we have two 24-hour drop boxes. We accept cash, check and card (2.3 % fee).
