Early Voting for the August 4, Primary Election will be held at the L'Anse Township Hall beginning this Saturday, July 25 through Sunday, August 2 from 8am-4pm.

All Baraga County voters can vote early at this site! This includes voters from Arvon Township, Baraga Township, Covington Township, L'Anse Township, and Spurr Township.

**Please remember that Arvon, Baraga, Covington, and Spurr Township residents will still need to vote at their own Township's site on election day, Tuesday, August 4.**

If you are a snowbird who is still away for the season and you are on the list to receive absentee ballots, but have not received one for the May Special Election, please contact our office directly. Your temporary address needs to be shared with us each election year if you will be away during any election. Ballots are not forwardable mail. We do not always have contact information to contact you directly when ballots are returned to us as undeliverable.

Please be aware that you will need to inform us of your mailing address if you will be away during any elections. Ballots are not forwardable mail, and if you are a snowbird, military, or an overseas absentee voter, or if you are away for any other reason, you will need to update your mailing address prior to these elections. This will ensure the arrival of your ballot in a timely manner.

Township Request for Bids-
Lawn Care Services

L'Anse Township is now accepting sealed bids for lawn care and mowing services for the 2026 season (May-Oct).

Services will include mowing, trimming and general lawn maintenance for Township properties, including (but not limited to) parks, cemeteries and other Township grounds. Contact L'Anse Township for more information on properties.

Bid Requirements:
*Must provide proof of liability insurance
*Must supply own equipment
*Experience with commercial or municipal mowing preferred
*References may be requested

Bids must include:

*Pricing for the full season and description of services to be provided
