Dangerous heat returns to much of the area by Sunday, then continues for the next week or more. Heat stress will likely impact daytime outdoor activities. Drink plenty of water and take breaks in shade when spending time outdoors.

Take charge of safety this school year by making battery safety part of your back-to-school routine. Charge devices safely, use approved equipment, and talk with students and staff about simple steps that help prevent battery-related fires.

When burn bans are in place and fire danger is high or extreme, the choices we make outdoors matter. Outdoor debris burning should be avoided entirely, because even a small fire can escape and become a wildfire under dry conditions.

Benton County’s next county-wide reappraisal is underway for 2028.

Reappraisal is the process of reviewing real property values to help ensure assessments reflect current market conditions and remain fair and equitable across the county.

During this process, property owners may see appraisal staff reviewing properties, updating records, and collecting information about land and improvements.

In the confusion that appears to be out there with regard to who serves who between Benton Washington PWA and Beaver Water District. The below was done by Beaver Water District with BWRPWA input. And remember, because of the postal districts it is entirely possible to have a Bentonville or Gentry address and be recieving water from Highfill or have a Rogers address and receive water from Benton Co Water District 1. This happens all over our service area so it's important to know who your local provider is.

Two voucher tiers, one goal, making an e-bike easier to afford.

Standard applicants can receive $700 toward an e-bike, and income-qualified applicants can receive $1,200. Applications are open now for eligible residents across our service area.

🗓️ Residents may host up to 4 garage sales per year, with each event lasting up to 4 consecutive days.
🚫 Signs are permitted on private property only.
