🚨 HUSBAND SHARES UPDATE ON FIREFIGHTER KATHERINE PAIGE'S RECOVERY AFTER SEARSMONT MILL EXPLOSION

PORTLAND, Maine — The husband of injured firefighter Katherine Paige is providing a hopeful update as she continues her recovery following the devastating Robbins Lumber explosion in Searsmont.

Paul Paige recently shared a selfie with his wife from Maine Medical Center, where she remains hospitalized after suffering serious injuries in the May 15 fire and explosion.

Katherine, a volunteer firefighter who serves with the Belmont and Northport fire departments, was among the 12 people injured while responding to the emergency at Robbins Lumber.

According to Paul, Katherine is expected to remain in the hospital for several more weeks as she continues her recovery. He also shared that she is scheduled to undergo surgery on her left hand on Tuesday.

The explosion claimed the life of Morrill firefighter Andrew Cross and injured multiple firefighters, EMS personnel, mill employees, and company owners.

Since the tragedy, communities across Maine have rallied around Katherine and the other victims, offering support, prayers, and donations as they face long roads to recovery.

Please continue to keep Katherine, her family, and all those affected by the Robbins Lumber disaster in your thoughts.
