๐๐๐ : Tell us how you got started working for Ellis.
๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ๐ถ๐ฒ: In September 2018 I had just moved back to Florida from Pennsylvania, and and business office was the first job I applied for. I was fortunate enough to get an interview, and right away I felt it was a perfect fit. From day one, I loved the people, the energy, and the way the company operates. Over the years, Iโve had the opportunity to grow within the company, taking on new responsibilities in payroll, HR, and administration. Iโve been here ever since, and itโs been incredibly rewarding to contribute to a team that values its employees and strives for excellence every day.
๐๐๐ : What is one of your favorite professional accomplishments?
๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ๐ถ๐ฒ: One of my favorite accomplishments is my dedication to people. Whether assisting employees with payroll questions, supporting team leaders, I always aim to provide patience, respect, and clear communication. My goal is to make every workplace better, more organized, and easier for others to succeed in!
๐๐๐ : If there is one thing you can advise to those who want to work a role like yours, what would you suggest?
๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ๐ถ๐ฒ: If thereโs one piece of advice, I would give to anyone wanting to work in Payroll Management and HR Administration, itโs this: be patient, stay organized, and always remain willing to learn. You donโt have to know everything on day one, but you do need to be open to learning new systems, new processes, and new ways of doing things. The more flexible and adaptable you are, the more valuable you become.
Most importantly, treat people with kindness and respect. This field is all about helping othersโฆemployees, coworkers, leadership, and clients. When people feel comfortable coming to you, thatโs when you know youโre doing your job well.
๐๐๐ : What do you like to do for fun?
๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ๐ถ๐ฒ: I love spending quality time with my family, especially my husband, children and grandchildren, who bring so much joy into my life! Their love and support motivate me every day, both personally and professionally. I also enjoy traveling. I just came back from Europe, actually!
In addition, I love spending time with my puppy, Pebbles. Whether weโre playing, going for walks, or just relaxing at home, she always brightens my day. Overall, I enjoy anything that allows me to connect with loved ones, create happy memories, and appreciate lifeโs simple pleasures.
