A great way to speak out against things we don't agree with is to offer alternatives.
For example, drag story hour. I refuse to leave my grand babies to protest those types of events. Instead, I'd rather create an activity I do find kid friendly, as the other option.
When we work in this way, we create stronger bonds with people of common interest and goals. Instead of building a bigger divide with people who will most likely never see it from our point of view. There is no value in that.
I'd rather build our relationships in our communities in a positive way. And you never know where the conversations may lead, but at least people are engaged in a positive way, supporting each other, even if never seeing eye to eye politically.
Be on the look out for events and opportunities to come together as a community instead of being divided. Aloha

There has been confusion on the slate presentation. Some are asking if we vote for a slate.....no, we vote for individuals who then make up our State Executive Committee aka TEAM.
Delegates are free to vote for whomever they feel is best qualified regardless of they are listed on a slate or not. Each candidate has their own election for the positions they seek.
Get to know all your candidates to make an informed decision.
