Hot Spring County Young Professional Democrats

We are Hot Spring County's official youth arm of the Democratic Party. Any Democrat between the ages of 14 and 35 are encouraged to join.

The Hot Spring County Young Professional Democrats are a group of motivated students, young professionals and future politicians. Who work to spread the Democratic message and mobilize young people to participate in the electoral process. We are a very diverse group, but all share a common vision, to better our community and our state.

Some of our members will be participating in R.E.A.D.'s Haunted House. All proceeds from the haunted house go directly to the Literacy Council of Hot Spring County and the R.E.A.D. program, which is a reading tutorial program for all ages. The Literacy Council also has a presence in both Saline and Clark Counties.
There are 20 themed rooms in the haunted house. There is a 13 Ghosts Room, a Swamp Room, and an "It" Room and many others. The tour for victims generally takes about 30 minutes.

The organizers of the haunted house are still seeking volunteers. If you are interested, contact any of our members and we can put you in contact with Executive Director, Patsy Dixon.

Dear House Republicans, your vote today to de-fund Planned Parenthood will deny millions of women access to cancer screening and prevention, STD testing and treatment, and contraception (you know that thing used to PREVENT unwanted pregnancies). In response, President Obama has vowed to veto the bill, setting the stage for a possible government shutdown.

Laurie Rushing is a co-sponsor on HB 1228, allowing businesses to discriminate against certain people.
Realtor Code of Ethics will not allow her to discriminate within her business "Trademark Real Estate" although she has implemented this law throughout the state of Arkansas. SHAME ON YOU LAURIE RUSHING
