is understandable that most of us want to see their donations at work, please check out the links to veteran and retired military individuals that have chosen to be identified and respect those that wish to remain anonymous. To further explain, because these words need to be heard...most of our HEROIC COMBAT VETERANS struggle with the idea that they deserve any special recognition. If you are coming here to get graphic details of the torture and acts of courage that they lived day to day during the longest war in history, please...go to the movies. Their goal is to live life, especially since all of them watched their brothers and sisters lose the chance to. Not all of our soldiers feel this way which is why we see such a spike in suicide rates among this group of heroic individuals. We don't ask questions on the state of their mental health or force them to be in situations where they have to acknowledge they failed to accomplish a task that many of us do in passing with ease. Depression that comes from war is not something that anyone could understand except for those who know it and live with it. It is our due diligence as Americans to make sure these soldiers do not struggle in silence due to the mentality that they are "just a normal person". They are not, by any means, going to feel as if their service was not extraordinary. They matter, and it is our goal to make sure that they feel Americas pride in them, personally. Not with posters and stickers...facebook gif's. Thank them in the ways they cant thank themselves, because that is where we as Americans are falling short. Everyone can contribute. $1 will make us 10 loaves of bread that we serve in trade for donations. You're $1 could possibly contribute to making that loaf of bread fall into the hands of someone who donates $10000 which could prevent a soldier from losing their home or help a soldier get into an apartment instead of jumping off a bridge.
