🎣🐟 Cops & Bobbers 2026! 🐟🎣

On June 6th, the Maple Shade Police Department proudly partnered with Toys for Tots to host the first Cops & Bobbers fishing event, bringing together local youth, families, officers, and community volunteers for a fun-filled day by the water.

The event provided children with the opportunity to learn fishing skills, enjoy the outdoors, connect with our officers, and create lasting memories. From the excitement of catching fish to the smiles shared throughout the day, it was a wonderful example of community engagement at its best.

A special thank you to Toys for Tots, our volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who helped make this event possible. We appreciate your continued support in creating positive experiences for the children and families of Maple Shade.

📚 Mayor's Minute: Maple Shade Library 📚

Our Maple Shade Library is one of the community's greatest resources, offering much more than books. From educational programs and workshops to community events, technology assistance, and lifelong learning opportunities, there's something for residents of all ages.

Recently the Mayor had the opportunity to participate in a Library event and was reminded of the important role the Library plays in bringing our community together. Whether you're looking to learn something new, attend a program, or simply find your next great read, we encourage everyone to take advantage of this wonderful community resource.

Today, employees throughout Maple Shade Township proudly wore blue and blue ribbons in support of Xavier and his family.

Residents may have noticed members of our Public Works Department and other Township employees wearing blue while working throughout the community. This simple act was our way of standing in solidarity with Xavier and showing that our thoughts are with him and his loved ones.

At times like these, communities come together not only as neighbors, but as one family. We are grateful for the opportunity to show our support and join so many others across Maple Shade who are keeping Xavier in their hearts.

From all of us at Maple Shade Township, we continue to send our strength, encouragement, and support.
