Who’s joining me for the Dine & Discover Marana Challenge this summer? 🍕☀️ It’s simple: visit 4 local restaurants, cafes, food trucks, or sweet treat spots around Marana, fill out your challenge card, and bring it to the Marana Chamber & Visitor Center to claim free Marana merch (while supplies last!).

It runs June 1–August 31, so we’ve got all summer to eat our way through town and support our local spots. Grab a card in person, scan the QR code for the digital version, or print one at home. Let’s go discover some new favorites together! Who’s in? 👇

I’m honored to share that my campaign for Marana Mayor has earned the official endorsement of the Tucson Association of REALTORS®! 🏡

I want to personally thank the TAR Elections Task Force and Chair Ginny Huffman for believing in my leadership and vision for our town. Real estate isn’t just an industry, it’s the foundation on which our neighbors build their families, grow their businesses, and put down roots in the community we love.

Deeply honored to receive this note from the Friends of Ironwood Forest.

Standing up for Ironwood Forest National Monument has been a privilege, and it means the world to know our efforts made a difference during a challenging year. Protecting the Sonoran Desert and this special place isn’t something any of us can do alone, it takes a whole community of people and organizations who care.

And what perfect timing: today, June 9, marks the Monument’s birthday!

Thank you, Chris, John, Jackie, and Mike, and everyone at Friends of Ironwood Forest, for your partnership and your tireless work. Here’s to many more years of protecting this irreplaceable landscape together.

Proud to share that Marana has been named #4 on U.S. News & World Report’s Best Places to Live in Arizona for 2026–2027.

This kind of recognition doesn’t happen by accident, and it doesn’t happen overnight. Marana is what it is because of great leadership, dedicated town employees, and a community that understands the bigger picture. We don’t get here by chasing single issues or fighting battles beyond our level of government. We get here through time, diligence, mutual respect, and the relationships we build with one another.

Thank you to everyone who makes this town a place people are proud to call home. 🌵

When I joined the council, I thought the job was policy, budgets, and votes. It is, but none of it works without relationships.

The best decisions don’t start in chambers. They start in conversations: with residents at the grocery store, with staff who know how things really run, with colleagues I disagreed with but came to respect.

We represent people, not abstractions. That means showing up, listening more than we talk, and remembering the person frustrated at the podium tonight is our neighbor tomorrow.

Relationships aren’t a distraction from the work. They are the work.
