Protect People from Abortion Prosecutions:
Since the U.S. Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe v. Wade, Arizonans have become less safe and less free due to extremist state laws banning all abortion and criminalizing healthcare workers and the patients they serve. I am the only candidate committed to protecting the right of all Arizonans to make their own private and personal healthcare decisions by protecting them from criminal prosecution. Instead of wasting taxpayer resources to enforce extremist abortion bans, I have been unequivocal that I will never use the resources of the County Attorney’s office to go after pregnant people, their healthcare workers, or their support networks – Not now. Not ever.

Together, We Can End Decades of MCAO Corruption:
As a prosecutor, I have taken on corrupt officials from both sides of the aisle who exploited their political power for personal gain — and won. I will bring the same approach to the MCAO, holding people that choose to do harm accountable, protecting seniors from fraud, and ensuring public officials don’t use their office for their personal gain. My opponent continues to over-prosecute people, feeding Arizona’s abhorrent private prison forced labor camps, ensuring her political allies are able to make millions off of human suffering. The leadership and senior staff of the MCAO have been engaged in corrupt practices for far too long and that ends this November.

Community distrust of the Maricopa County Attorney's Office is rampant across our county. I'm committed to creating an independent unit within the MCAO to address police use of force. As your next County Attorney, the practice of releasing police use-of-force decisions late on a Friday afternoon or during the holiday season will end.
