📚Big news for our Diamondbacks!

MES has been named one of just 100 national winners in Reading Is Fundamental’s “Rally to Read 100” sweepstakes! 🎉

As part of this nationwide initiative, MES will receive 100 brand-new books to help inspire a love of reading among our K-5 students. These books will be added to the school library, expanding access to stories and resources for nearly 900 students. 📖

Thank you to Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) and Barnes & Noble for supporting literacy and helping our scholars continue to grow one book at a time. ❤️

We are gearing up to begin our annual ABC Countdown to Summer spirit days this Friday, April 17th.

We hope scholars are just as excited as staff is to celebrate the last 26 days with a little fun!🎉

Fries, fun, and familiar faces 🍟❤️

Maricopa Elementary families had a great time at McTeacher's Night at McDonald’s on John Wayne! Our scholars loved seeing their teachers step behind the counter and deliver meals right to their tables.

More than just dinner, it was a chance to relax, connect, and share some smiles outside the classroom. Thanks to everyone who came out to make it such a special night!

✨ Today for Spirit Week, we celebrated "Hats off to Friendship" by rocking our favorite headwear and showing some love to our amazing staff.
A huge shoutout to our incredible PTO (aka Cupid!) for stopping by with the snack cart to shower our team with treats. We love our staff, and we love our school community! Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️🍓🥤
