Cobb County Drug Treatment Court

Recovery is worth celebrating! 💜🎨🎶

In honor of National Recovery Month, Cobb County Drug Treatment Court brought participants and team members together for Brush N Beats, a morning of painting, music, laughter, and connection.

Nearly 40 participants joined us, creating their own freestyle canvases while enjoying a mix of music that had plenty of people singing and even dancing. Our Drug Treatment Court team picked up paintbrushes and joined in too!

What made the morning so special was hearing participants share how much they enjoyed having fun while sober and getting to see the team in a different setting, outside of court and treatment.

That is exactly why sober outings matter. They give participants a chance to make new memories, build connections, and experience the joy that can come with a life in recovery.

A special thank you to East Cobb Church for providing coffee and donuts for everyone! ☕🍩

A morning filled with good music, creativity, connection, and most importantly, a celebration of recovery. 💜

Today we celebrated something special.

Four individuals graduated from the Cobb County Drug Treatment Court, each one representing hard work, accountability, and real change. This program is not easy, and what they accomplished took commitment every single day.

This program meets people where they are and gives them the support they need to make real changes in their lives. These graduates are a reflection of what’s possible when that support is matched with commitment.

We are proud of each of you and everything you’ve overcome to get here. Your journey matters, and this moment is just the beginning.

The Cobb County Drug Treatment Court team recently attended an Operational Tune-Up where programs from across the state came together to share ideas, learn from one another, and strengthen the work we do every day.

A special thank you to Brooke and Kelly for putting together this incredible display highlighting some of the successes of our program. The board showcases participant outings, community engagement, and the many ways our participants are building new lives in recovery.

Drug courts change lives. Through accountability, treatment, and strong community support, participants are given the opportunity to break the cycle of addiction and move forward on a new path.

We are proud of the work being done by our team and even more proud of the individuals who commit to doing the hard work of recovery every day.
