The end of the school year is almost here! Report card pick-up for Marion Seventh Grade Academy will take place June 8–11, 2026.

Dates: June 8–11, 2026
Morning Session: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM

Please stop by during one of the designated times to pick up your scholar’s report card and celebrate their hard work and accomplishments this school year.

Friday was May Day, and we had a blast at 7GA! Students enjoyed a day filled with fun, games, and friends as they rotated through activity stations across campus and participated in a variety of events throughout the day. From competition and team activities to board games, dancing, and more, there was something for everyone to enjoy. A special thank you to everyone who helped make this day a success. We loved celebrating the end of a great year with our students and creating memories that will last long after seventh grade.

The Marion Patriot Pride Band program is pleased to announce the addition of two new staff members who will join the program for the 2026-27 school year.

Emily Norris joins Marion after working with marching band programs across west Tennessee and northern Mississippi, most recently at Lake Cormorant High School. Destiny Riddle brings a diverse background in music education, with experience in band programs throughout Arkansas and Oklahoma.

“We are excited to welcome Ms. Norris and Ms. Riddle to our band program,” said Marion Director of Bands Kristen Shepherd. “Both bring a tremendous passion for music education along with valuable experience in the classroom and performance settings. Their energy, talent, and commitment to students will make an immediate impact on our program. We look forward to the opportunities ahead as they help continue the tradition of excellence within Marion bands.”

Congratulations to our Star Students of the Week: Princess and A'kyrah! These two young ladies go above and beyond in the classroom and across campus. They are involved in many extracurricular activities and serve as the voices of 7GA by reading our daily announcements. We are proud of the leadership and dedication they show each day. Thank you for your hard work!

Our ATLAS All Stars had a great day at Incredible Pizza in Memphis! Students who scored a Level 4 on an ATLAS assessment earned this special trip in recognition of their hard work and outstanding achievement. Congratulations, students!

Congratulations to our 2026 7GA Beta Club inductees! Today, our newest Beta Club members were recognized for their achievements and celebrated this special accomplishment with their families. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication! Thank you to our club sponsor, Mrs. Fifer, for her leadership, and to Kenneth Lamb and Taher for the wonderful lunch.
