Last night the Marion Harding High School JROTC program conducted our 2nd annual Cadet Ball. Thank you to State Representative Tracy Richardson for being our guest speaker and making this special night even better. We also conducted a Change of Command where Cadet Major Hailey Manley assumed responsibility as the Battalion Commander as we say goodbye to our outgoing Commander LTC Blake Gibson. It was an incredible night of dinner and dancing. Thank you to everyone who attending including our staff and family members. 1SG Renner.

Upperclassmen from our JROTC program had the opportunity to attend the Allstar Leadership Event at Wright Patterson Air Force base today. The Cadets had a great time getting to see and experience many different things including fighter jets, a medical C130 airplane, EOD (bomb squad), robotics, fire fighters, military working dogs, and so much more. They all did a tremendous job representing our school and the JROTC program.

This past week I had the opportunity to recognize some incredible Cadets. Cadet Kellogg was promoted to Staff Sergeant, Cadet June Moore to Command Sergeant Major, Cadet Hailey Manley to Major and Cadet Blake Gibson to Lieutenant Colonel. Cadet Jordan Waits, not pictured was promoted to SFC. These Cadets have contributed in so many ways to our program and I am incredibly proud of their hard work.
