Re-elect Jerry Richardson Marion County Coroner Jerry Richardson has been a life-long resident of Marion County, serving as Marion County Coroner since he was first elected in 1976.

He is hoping for your vote in the in the June 11, 2024 Democratic Primary in Marion County, SC. Jerry is a life long member of the Marion County Community. He graduated from Kentucky School of Mortuary Science and owned and operated Richardson Funeral Home, a company he started in 1971. He has been working with his youngest son, Jason Richardson the last 25 years. He is also married to Mary Lou R

ichardson, a retired school teacher from Marion School District One. In addition to his son Jason, Jerry also has another son, Brad Richardson, a local attorney. Coroner Richardson was first elected coroner in 1976, a post that he has proudly held ever since. He formerly served as a volunteer fireman and the Marion County Rescue Squad. He has spent nearly 50 years serving the citizens of Marion County. Coroner Richardson has always provided his own office space, and driven his own personal vehicle, never costing the taxpayers a cent. Jerry also does not waste the citizens of Marion County's money on unnecessary autopsies. He puts his decades of experience to use, only ordering costly autopsies when necessary.
