The Friends of the Marlboro Library are holding a special raffle to celebrate the recently completed Library expansion and upgrades! The basket is filled with book lover themed goodies, including a $25 Fermata gift card, reading journals, candle, jigsaw puzzle, mug, tea, coasters, journal making kit and more!

Raffle tickets are $1 each, 6 for $5 or an “arms-length” for $10, and may be purchased at the Marlboro Library, where the basket is on display near the circulation desk. Proceeds will go towards future Library initiatives. The drawing will be held at the Library’s grand reopening celebration, date to be announced.

Friends of the Marlboro Library’s 8th Annual Tea Party Fundraiser

Saturday, May 2, 11:30am-1:30pm

Marlborough Community Center, 1520 Rte 9W, Marlboro, NY

The Friends of the Marlboro Library will be holding their eighth annual Tea Party Fundraiser at the Marlborough Community Center, on Saturday, May 2, from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Enjoy the charms of a bygone era and join us for tea, light refreshments, music, raffles and conversation. A ticket to this event makes a wonderful Mother’s Day gift! Proceeds will go towards future Library initiatives.

Tickets for the tea are $25 dollars each and are available for purchase at the Marlboro Library circulation desk.

Fancy hats are encouraged!

As construction continues to move along smoothly, we’re pleased to announce that the Library will now stay open until 8:00 PM, Monday–Thursday (an extra hour each evening!).

The Library's current hours (as of April 6) due to construction are:
Monday-Thursday: 12:30pm-8:00pm
Friday: 12:30pm-5:00pm
Saturday: 11:00am-5:00pm
Sunday: 1:00pm-5:00pm

Thank you for your continued support and flexibility during this process. We’re so glad to be able to offer more time for you to visit, browse, and connect!

Our Annual Shredder Truck Event will be held on Friday, April 3, from 9:30am-11:00am sharp! Please note: Due to Library construction, this event will be held at the Town of Marlborough Community Center parking lot, located at 1520 Route 9W, Marlboro.
