WIND ADVISORY THURSDAY 9AM TO 7 PM - We have enjoyed several beautiful days, but it is winter. Expect winds to quickly increase Thursday morning in the wake of a cold front and remain strong and gusty through the afternoon before diminishing in the evening. Winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 40 to 50 mph expected.
Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Take a moment this evening to secure outdoor loose objects, make sure flash lights are handy, keep cell phones charged. We will update you as necessary.

This evening the Police Department received information about a possible threat to the High School. The incident was thoroughly investigated by both our Patrol Division and Detective Bureau and the threat was deemed not to be credible.
The high school was made aware and will be dealing with the incident per their district school policies.
As an extra security measure, the Marlboro Police Department will have extra officers, both in uniform and plain clothes, stationed at the High School tomorrow.
We would like to thank those who brought this information to our attention and remind everyone;
If you See Something, Say Something, and We Will Do Something.
