Route 520 closed between 34 and conover due to a traffic accident. There are downed poles and wires and power outages may occur. To receive updates directly from police register for SWIFT 911 messages at

County Route 520 between State Highway 34 and Conover Road will be closed due to an accident. A tractor trailer struck low hanging wires which caused a telephone pole to snap. Work crews are en route to the location. Power outages may occur in the immediate vicinity. A detour will be in place shortly. PLEASE AVOID THE AREA IF POSSIBLE.

ROAD CLOSED - Lloyd Road is closed from Route 79 to Nolan Road as repairs are made to address a water main break. The road is closed to vehicular traffic. The sidewalk is accessible for pedestrians and bicyclists. A road detour is in place and officers are on site to assist. Please avoid the area if possible. Thank you for your cooperation.

The US National Weather Service Philadelphia/Mount Holly has posted a Tornado Watch for our area until 6pm this evening (conditions are favorable for the development of severe thunderstorms that are capable of producing tornadoes.) Wind gusts are expected to continue through the afternoon. An approaching cold front is expected to produce severe thunderstorms this afternoon with wind gusts of 70-90MPH. Keep a close eye on local weather updates and alerts.
