We have incredible guests bringing their expertise on multiple topics and look forward to a wonderful day of learning and growing as professionals. Due to school being closed, the high school orchestra Pre-Festival Concert scheduled for Thursday, February 23 is also cancelled. This will not be rescheduled.

We invite you to instead attend Symphony Orchestra’s performance at MSBOA Band & Orchestra Festival on Friday, March 3 at 7:00 pm in the high school auditorium. Spectators are able to watch both the performance and sight reading components of the event, and it is truly better in every way when we have support from our friends and family in the audience.

Since Concert Orchestra already performed at Solo & Ensemble Festival, their other pieces will be added to our next concert in May.

Rehearsal #1 for the fair is this Wednesday, August 3, in the MMS orchestra room. 6:30-7:30 pm.

Rehearsal #2 is Thursday, August 11, same location/time.

The fair performance itself is Tuesday, August 16 at 4 pm at the fair grounds.

If you are unable to make it to the rehearsals and need my assistance before the fair, please let me know. Rehearsals are not required but are as highly encouraged as possible.

If you are coming to the fair Tuesday morning for Kid's Day, make sure to stop by the Community Tent to say hi! We will be there from 10-11:30 am. Listen to some music, and you can even try an instrument!
