RILEYS ROLLIN KITCHEN VISITS MPD AND MFD

The Marshall Police Department and Marshall Fire Department would like to take this time to give a very special thank you to Sharon and Brad Riley, owner operators of Riley’s Rollin Kitchen for the delicious food they provided to our departments this afternoon.

The menu included tenderloin sandwich, pulled pork sandwich or nachos. ¼ lb. all beef dogs, or ¼ lb. beef dog wrapped in bacon., toppings of our choice and yes it continues, sides included potato salad, Cole slaw, baked beans, and for desert, Peanut butter corn flake cookies.

Mr. and Mrs. Riley said they wanted a way to say thank you for our services and came up with the idea to provide us with a very delicious and satisfying meal.

Once again, thank you so much Mr. and Mrs. Riley for taking time from your busy day to visit with us and provide such a wonderful meal.

Congrats to Sedalia’s Fire Chief on his retirement after over 4 decades of service to the city.

Sedalia Firefighters Local 103

PSA: It is never acceptable to run over a fire hose . Often times it is necessary to lay a supply line from a hydrant across a road. While SPD does a great job of shutting down the street, often times they can’t block every angle . During a fire tonight , numerous vehicles drove over a charged supply line with fire crews inside the burning structure. This is a life threatening situation when this occurs, as hose lines are literally a “life line” for those inside .
