🐾 Say hello to one of our newest Bobcats for 2026–27!

Seth Kite is joining MCSD as a new school based therapist, and we couldn’t be happier to have him on the team. Here’s why Seth is ready to embrace the lead as a Bobcat:

🐾 Where’s Bobby?

Well…he’s back, and he’s looking better than ever! 👀

After keeping a low profile at the start of the school year, Bobby the Bobcat was busy getting a brand-new look—courtesy of our amazing Marshalltown Bobcat Booster Club, who got us a brand-new mascot costume! We are so thankful for your generosity and support!

No superintendent search party necessary this year. 😎

Bobby is officially back and ready to roam the halls, cheer on our students, and make plenty of appearances throughout the year.

🍎 The big day is almost here!

Our preschool students begin school on Monday, Aug. 31! We’re so excited to welcome our youngest learners and families for the start of a special new school year.

There will be new faces to meet, new things to discover and so many little moments to celebrate. We can’t wait to watch our preschoolers grow and shine throughout the year!

¡Nuestros estudiantes de preescolar comienzan clases el lunes 31 de agosto! Estamos muy emocionados de dar la bienvenida a nuestros estudiantes más pequeños y a sus familias para comenzar un nuevo año escolar muy especial.

🐾 And just like that, we’re off to a great start!

The first week of school has been full of new beginnings, familiar faces, new friendships, and plenty of learning. We’ve loved seeing students back in our hallways, reconnecting with friends and teachers, and welcoming so many new faces to our school community.

Students are settling into their routines, getting to know their teachers and classmates, and finding their rhythm for the year. There’s already been so much excitement across our schools, and we can’t wait to see all that this year has in store!

Here’s to a fantastic school year filled with learning and lots of reasons to smile.
