This will remain in effect for an undetermined amount of hours for an accident investigation and cleanup.

Our generous host Brookside Farms Fritz's Blueberries will have their store front open as well, seasonal products and donuts 😋 there is a play ground for the kiddos.. and FIRE TRUCKs it will be a fabulous morning!

⚠️ TORNADO WATCH has been issued for Allegan County until 2:00 AM EDT Friday ⚠️

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has placed Allegan County under a Tornado Watch, along with much of West and South Central Michigan.

A WATCH means conditions are favorable for tornadoes to develop. This is the time to PREPARE — not panic.

✅ Review your safe location now (basement or interior room, lowest floor, away from windows)
✅ Charge phones and have multiple ways to receive warnings — sign up for AlleganAlert.
✅ Secure loose outdoor items before dark
✅ Keep shoes, flashlight, and weather radio within reach

⚠️ This watch runs overnight. Don't rely on outdoor sirens to wake you — make sure your phone's Wireless Emergency Alerts are ON and keep the volume up while you sleep.

We currently have units on multiple roads and intersections with roads closed due to trees and lines down.

Last nights training consisted of Pump Operations; crews utilized the hydrant near the water tower as well as the dry hydrant on Lake Sixteen to practice pumping water.
