Photos from in Richmond and Pittsburg yesterday afternoon. Members from our Victim-Witness Program were in both Pittsburg and Richmond. District Attorney Becton was in Richmond for the kickoff of the caravan that started at Shields-Reid Park and travelled throughout Richmond, visiting registered neighborhood block parties across the city. Pittsburg's National Night Out was at Small World Park on Harbor Street where they had drone demonstrations, a DJ, rides, info booths, and good vibes all around.

Last stop on a mini-tour of cities. In Martinez at Waterfront Park where Shannon and Maddy from our Victim-Witness Program are talking with folks about some of the work our office does for public safety and victim’s rights. Great turnout with plenty of families taking in the cool afternoon breeze, live music, food, activities, information, and fun! Goes until 9 pm.

Stopping off at Concord’s talking to Priscilla, Saleh, Cesar from our Victim-Witness Program. They are here in Concord letting the public know about the kind of services the District Attorney’s Office offers members of the public who are victims of crime —and letting them know about their Marcy’s Law rights.
