🎒📚 Help us make this year's Back 2 School Bash the best one yet!

The Mascotte Police Department is now collecting school supply and monetary donations for our 5th Annual Back 2 School Bash. Donation boxes are available at 8 locations throughout the community, and monetary donations can be made directly at the Mascotte Police Department.

Donations will be accepted through August 3. Every notebook, backpack, pencil, and dollar donated helps local students start the school year prepared and confident.

On May 15, 2026, seven off-duty members of the Mascotte Police Department came together for a volunteer cleanup initiative aimed at improving areas of the city affected by excessive trash and litter.

Throughout the morning, volunteers worked at several locations that had accumulated significant debris over time. Thanks to everyone’s hard work and willingness to step up and help, a noticeable difference was made in those areas. By the end of the clean-up effort, an entire dumpster had been filled with collected trash.

While this may have seemed like a simple act of service, it had a meaningful impact on the community. Several citizens approached volunteers during the event to express their appreciation after seeing the effort firsthand. It was encouraging to see officers willingly give up part of their Friday to help make the community cleaner and more welcoming for everyone.

Thank you again to everyone who volunteered and helped make the initiative a success. Your dedication, teamwork, and commitment to the community are truly appreciated. Due to the positive impact of this clean-up effort, we plan to organize another volunteer clean-up initiative in the future. Additional information will be sent out to those who would like to participate and continue helping make our community cleaner and safer for everyone.
