On Saturday, October 3rd, the Mascotte Police Department was proud to participate in Groveland’s Latin Festival, the 2nd Annual Hispanic Heritage Latin Festival, hosted by Better Life Worship Center!

The event brought the community together to celebrate Hispanic heritage and culture through food, local vendors, music, and entertainment. Representing the City of Mascotte, Mayor Sheffield and the Mascotte Police Department were proud to join our neighboring communities for this special occasion.

Our iconic Pink Cruiser was a highlight of the event, attracting attention from attendees and city officials alike! As the only police department participating, we were grateful for the opportunity to connect with residents, build positive relationships, and showcase the importance of community partnerships beyond our city limits.

We also sincerely thank Senior Pastor Bishop Juan Rivera and Evangelist Pastor Nelson Bloem for their kind words and for welcoming the Mascotte Police Department to this wonderful event.

At the Mascotte Police Department, we believe that building trust goes beyond the badge. Through community outreach and events like this, we remain committed to strengthening relationships, celebrating our diverse communities, and serving as positive partners in the communities we call home.
