The xTool O1 Omni roll feeder wastes about 30 inches of canvas before it prints a thing.

I measured it: 23½ inches of canvas sits inside the machine, plus about 6 inches fed out for tensioning.
On the $34.99 two-roll canvas bundle, that’s roughly $1.50 of material every time you print one sign on its own.
Print 4 or 5 signs in one run and the waste mostly goes away.
xTool says a firmware fix for the extra feed is coming. For now I treat it as a production tool, not for one-offs, and price single banners higher.

I’d rather be in the shop. I’ll be flying most of the day. Those are valuable hours I could be creating new designs or testing out new software features. When you find yourself traveling how do you fill the time? I will be training Claude to generate my next 30 days of content. Simple steps I can create from my phone.

Another successful event personalizing ornaments with my XTool F1. If you are selling at a craft fair, are you personalizing? Being able to add names and dates on the spot may be the difference between a successful event or just another flop. Customers want value and you aren’t just selling stuff you are selling an experience.
