I wanted to post this a little early because I do not want to take time away from your Motherβs Day tomorrow.
Motherβs Day always makes me pause.
It makes me think not only of moms, but of the women who have loved, carried, guided, protected, and stood in the gap like a mother.
Some women gave birth.
Some women stepped in.
Some women chose to stay.
Some women carried roles they were never prepared for, but still gave their love fully.
And that kind of love deserves to be honored too.
I know that being a mother, or standing in the place of one, is not always easy. It is often quiet, sacrificial, and unseen. It looks like putting others first, holding things together, carrying worry no one else notices, and still finding a way to show up with love.
So today, I just want to say this from the heart:
To every mom, grandmother, guardian, foster mom, adoptive mom, aunt, sister, and mother figure who has loved like a mother, thank you.
Thank you for the care.
Thank you for the strength.
Thank you for the comfort.
Thank you for showing up, again and again.
You matter more than words can say.
Happy Motherβs Day to all the women who have nurtured, protected, and loved with a motherβs heart.
