November 2025 on Veterans Day is when I got a call saying Abby was running for another office and that this is my time to step up and run, so that’s when I prayed and decided I would be running for this position. I was really on the fence with the timing of it all. This is a position I’ve always known I wanted to run for, but my life was a wreck. That was just 7 months after losing my daughter. All I could think of was there is no way I can take on all the stress that this campaign was gonna bring. It was taking every ounce of GOD to drag me out of bed every morning. I battled for 10 months campaigning, family and friends lifting me up when I was having rough days or weeks. That’s why I say trust in Jesus and thank you Jesus for carrying me through. It’s never our timing, it’s always HIS and We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. So thanks again to everyone, from every volunteer that helped door knock, went to events with me, bought shirts, donated money or signs, and every voter that showed up for me at the poll and also told your friends, family and neighbors about me, I’m truly grateful.

This will be my last campaign post!! I’m sure yall are as glad to hear that as I am to say it lol 😂. I know campaign ads get really old and annoying this time of year. With that being said today is Election Day, please get out and put your vote in for me. Myself and many volunteers have worked our butts off for over 8 months. We have been door knocking, at events, first PAVE forum, and just wearing our shirts out and meeting people out to eat and at the mall. The campaign trail has been an incredible learning experience. It has been great meeting each and every person and hearing their concerns for our county. Thank you again for all the support. I figured I’d share some pictures to cap this all off.

If you want these tore up oil and chip roads fixed CORRECTLY, with an asphalt over lay, then vote for me. I have the experience to jump right in and get it going day 1. I will look into the budget to see exactly how many miles a year we can do, but I know it’s at least 8 miles. We will work the most troubled areas, trying to work so many miles in each area of D3 per year to be somewhat fair and not just working in 1 town all year. Macomb- finishing gaddy, and starting Romulus is top priority in your area. Earlsboro- hardesty from county line to highway 9a, econtuchka from hardesty to bob crouch, and all of bob crouch are top priorities for your area. Konawa- fixing sacred heart south of highway 39 and propane after the water line project is top priority for yall. Asher- continued partnership fixing your city streets. Maud- finishing cemetery road, Reuben rivers, skagg city, and hope roads are top priority in your area. This can’t all be done in 1 year, it takes budgeting, and planning to make this happen and I’m ready to get started.

I will be posting a few reminders between now and next Tuesday. I know for myself with school starting, and my kids in sports and other activities, we will be playing ball in strothers on election night. We have a plan in place to get there before work that morning. I say all this to encourage everyone to please make a plan now. Look at your kids schedule, if you will be out of town and unable to vote on Tuesday the 25th, then please take advantage of early voting Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the election board in Shawnee. Don’t just assume it’s just one vote and it won’t matter. Every vote matters! I need yall to show up one more time for me. Thank you to everyone for all the support.
