Hess Memorial Hospital Thrift Store HMHA is the Hess Memorial Hospital Auxillary Thrift Shop. It is run by Volunteers. We strive to provide the community with goods at a low price.

Our profits go to the hospital and schlorships for Juneau county students going on to medical endeavors. Our normal hours are M-F from 12:30 til 4 and Saturdays from 10 til 1. Check out HMHA on FB after 4 PM daily for the dates of our $5.00 Bag Sales and random Pop Up Sales!

Hey Thrifters! I have a big favor to ask of you! We appreciate all of your donations that you bring in to us and now I am asking for something a little different!

We are in need of plastic bags! Not the Festival size but something a bit larger but not as big as a kitchen size garbage bag!

We could also use cloth tote bags for the heavier purchases you make! Books get heavy and plastic bags don’t always do well!

You can drop them off during regular business hours! It would be greatly appreciated! 😁

The Hess Memorial Hospital Thrift Store recently made a donation to Mile Bluff Medical Center Foundation to support the purchase several new pieces of equipment for the medical center including this mammography biopsy chair for the Medical Imaging Department.

A mammography biopsy chair is a specialized, mobile medical chair designed to safely position and support patients during stereotactic biopsy procedures. It transitions between a seated and reclined position, allowing for optimal access to equipment while keeping the patient comfortable and secure.

The Hospital Auxiliary is a group of local volunteers that manages one of the thrift stores in Mauston. Funds raised through sales go to support services at Mile Bluff, and to provide scholarships to high school seniors entering the medical field. Next time you're cleaning out the closets, or looking to do some thrifting, remember that the Hess Memorial Hospital Thrift Store directly impacts local healthcare.

Hey Thrifters! You all know we are back open after our holiday break, right?

We are in need of gently used clothing! Men’s and children’s to be exact, but any clothing is appreciated!

Go thru those closets and drop off some of those “I haven’t worn that since last winter, and most likely won’t this winter!”

Hey Thrifters! Just a quick note or two! Number 1, we will be closed for the Thanksgiving weekend, Thursday the 27th, Friday the 28th and Saturday the 29th. Back open for business on Monday, December 1st!

Number 2, just a reminder that with winter on its way which also brings changes in the weather! If Mauston schools are closed due to the weather so are we! I will try and post necessary closings early the day of!

And finally, please keep in mind that while we appreciate your donations, please do not leave them outside the building at any time! Our volunteers are not always here when we are closed and the weather ruins the donations.
