Building A Legacy Beyond Walls

This weekend, I had the incredible privilege to attend and network at a conference hosted at the beautiful Grand Geneva Resort in Wisconsin. It was an honor to share the vision and mission of Prison Legacy Foundation—helping incarcerated men and their families experience transformation, healing, and purpose through Christ-centered personal growth.

Every connection made is another opportunity to expand hope, create partnerships, and continue breaking cycles of incarceration through faith, family, and legacy. 💙

Prison Legacy Academy Graduation at Howard McLeod Correctional Facility

What a powerful day of celebration and transformation!

We are so proud of the men who completed the Prison Legacy Academy program — a journey of faith, growth, and purpose. Through dedication, prayer, and perseverance, these men have taken important steps toward building a new legacy rooted in Christ.

Each graduate has shown incredible courage and commitment to becoming the best version of themselves — spiritually, mentally, and emotionally.

To witness their testimonies, prayers, and unity was truly moving. God is at work behind those walls, and the impact will continue far beyond them.

Please join us in congratulating our graduates and lifting them up in continued prayer as they walk boldly in their new identity and purpose. 🙏

-Its Graduation Week at Howard McLeod Correctional Facility-

On our last day of class for Prison Legacy Academy, we took time to write on water dissolving paper the things we want to release- burdens, mistakes, fears, resentment, unforgiveness, and anything that holds us back. Then we placed them in water, watching them dissolve as a symbol of giving it all to God.

As we step into a new chapter, we do so feeling lighter, freer, and renewed- ready to walk in the purpose God has set before us!

Congratulations to all of our graduates!! May this next season be filled with hope, growth, and the joy of living out the legacy you are building!

At Prison Legacy Academy at Howard McLeod Correctional Facility, we believe that sharing a meal is more than just food on the table, it is about building brotherhood, creating moments of joy, and reminding each man that he is part of something BIGGER!

This week, the men on the God Pod, came together, cooking side by side, laughing, encouraging one another, and experiencing the gift of community! These moments strengthen bonds, brings healing, and plants seeds of lasting change!

Together, we are not just making meals, we are making memories and building legacies!

A huge thank you to everyone that donated to help get these men the food to make this happen!
