Please encourage your seniors (17.5 years old or older) to register to vote. We need our kids to vote and make a difference - this is an important step towards adulthood. There is no party-slant to this post. We just really need the Valley to register and vote! Https://register2vote.org Feel free to forward information. Thank you.
Disappointed in the F.F.A. program due to administrations lack of concern of how it is failing our students, had it been football or basketball or soccer let's throw money at it let's make it the best field/court we can, meantime our Ag. farm is falling apart and our ONE sponsor/teacher is swamped with work and student needs.. he can not be at all places. This in one of the many pens that need work... See anything missing???
To the parents of students attending Memorial High School, If you don't know, a student attending Memorial High School posted this on February 10th. The children of two concerned parents I work with showed their parents. I think it's important to bring this up because apparently the school is "aware of the situation " but has yet to notify the parents. Do you think the parents in Flordia had been notified? Do you think the parents in Flordia had a chance to speak to their kids about what to do in an active shooter situation? Please don't ignore pleas for help. Talk to your kids. Talk to their friends ( maybe they don't have the support system at home) Start the conversation. Memorial administration, this child is in pain and needs attention and help. I know there are countless children who you are watching over and I know that you all have a lot on your hands, but something more has to be done. Also, as i was typing this, an email just went out to the parents. This post happened a week ago. Don't wait for a shooting to happen to send alerts to the parents, and don't wait for the parents to go walk into your office to start doing something. Do something before precious children's lives are taken, and before families are broken. Most importantly, to the kid who wrote this post. You are loved. You might not feel it or believe it but there are good people in the world, and there are great joys ahead. Reach out for help. You'll find it, and if you can't seem to find it, there are people who care and are willing to listen.
