There’s been a lot on our hearts lately, and we wanted to share a little update on our adoption journey.

A few weeks ago, we welcomed children into our home with hopeful hearts, believing this could be the beginning of forever. After much prayer, many hard conversations, and a lot of tears, that placement came to an end. While we know it was the right decision for everyone involved, it has left us grieving and feeling discouraged.

Adoption and foster care are beautiful, but they are also incredibly hard. Sometimes God’s plan doesn’t look the way we imagined, and the waiting feels heavier than we expected. Even in our disappointment, we are choosing to trust that He sees the full picture when we only see a small piece.

We still believe God has called us to grow our family through adoption. That calling hasn’t changed, even though this season has been painful. We don’t know what the next chapter holds, but we know the One who does.

We would be so grateful if you would continue praying with us—for healing, peace, wisdom, and for the child or children God is preparing for our family. We trust that His timing is perfect, even when it’s difficult to understand.

Thank you to everyone who has encouraged us, prayed for us, and walked alongside us. Your support means more than you’ll ever know. ❤️

We have an exciting update!

As some of you know, we are in the process of adopting two boys, and our hearts are so full as we prepare to welcome them into our family. 💙💙

Several friends and family members have asked if we have a registry or items we still need, so we wanted to share it here for anyone who would like to support us during this exciting season. From toys and books to everyday essentials, every little bit helps us get ready for these sweet boys.

More than anything, we appreciate your love, encouragement, and prayers as we walk through this journey. We truly could not do this without our village.

Thank you all for loving our family so well. We can’t wait for everyone to meet these boys and watch them grow surrounded by so much love. 💙

We wanted to post this again as we are so excited that our family is putting together this event and silent auction on May 2nd at Liberty Baptist Church. We want to ensure everyone on here who is following us along this journey is invited to attend! We will be providing food, music and have tons of items to bid on! We hope to see as many people there as possible and again want to thank everyone for following, supporting and praying for us! Below is the Event Flyer. Adoption is a journey that teaches you many things, but one of the biggest lessons we are learning right now is patience.

Right now, we are in a season of waiting and trusting that God is preparing the right path and the right mother who will one day choose us to love and raise her child. While we may not know when that moment will come, we believe with all our hearts that it will happen in His perfect timing.

In the meantime, we continue to prepare our home, our hearts, and our lives for the child we are praying for every single day. This waiting period can be hard, but it is also filled with hope, faith, and gratitude.

We want to say thank you to everyone who has prayed for us, shared our story, supported our fundraiser, and encouraged us along the way. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we wait for the mother God is choosing for us and the moment our lives change forever.

We’re Officially LIVE ❤️

As of today, our adoption profile is officially live and can now be presented to expectant mothers. This is a moment we have prayed for, and our hearts are full of hope.

A match could happen at any time.

We are so incredibly grateful for your continued prayers, encouragement, and support. While we still have a ways to go financially, we are trusting the process and God’s timing every step of the way.

Please continue praying for the expectant mother who may be considering us and for the baby we hope to welcome home.

We want to take a moment to say thank you ❤️ Truly, from the bottom of our hearts, to every single person who has donated, shared, prayed, and supported us so far.

Because of your generosity this past week alone, our homestudy is officially complete, and our profile book is finished and ready to be presented to expectant mothers. These were huge milestones in our adoption journey, and your support made them possible. We are overwhelmed with gratitude knowing that we did not walk this part alone.

As we continue forward, we also want to be transparent about the remaining costs that typically come with a private adoption. While every journey is different, some of the upcoming expenses may include:

• Agency & program fees
• Legal and attorney fees
• Birth mother support (medical, counseling, living expenses as allowed)
• Matching & placement fees
• Interstate Compact (ICPC) costs, if applicable
• Travel and lodging during placement
• Post-placement supervision and finalization fees

Each step brings us closer to welcoming a child into our family, and every bit of support , whether financial, through sharing our story, or through prayer, means more than we can put into words.
