This morning, I joined the groundbreaking for The Residences at Colvin Run. A new 62-unit senior living community on 2.8 acres in #GreatFalls offering 44 assisted living apartments and 18 memory care residences. The project by Verity Commercial, LLC. and Integracare Inc. will provide a much-needed housing option for senior residents that want to stay in the area!

Thank you to all the community advocates and stakeholders for helping to make this much-needed project a reality.

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT)’s Northern Virginia Paving Program improves hundreds of miles of roads in Fairfax County every year. VDOT and the Fairfax County Department of Transportation FCDOT) use this program as an opportunity to increase driver, bicyclist and pedestrian safety with road and crosswalk improvements while minimizing the financial investment in restriping work. FCDOT will post proposed improvements for every district in advance of each meeting - please check back soon for updates.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, FCDOT currently is holding community meetings virtually via Webex. For those who cannot attend, a video of each meeting will be available on the district paving and restriping page after the event. Registration links and dial-in information will be posted in March.
