Today is the Pennsylvania Primary Election. I encourage you all to exercise your right to vote.

There is one consequential race in my area: PA State Senate between Al Buchtan and Camera Bartolotta. I am not endorsing either of these candidates. They are very similar on lowering taxes, and strengthening the republican party in Pennsylvania, and both very lackluster with respect to education. They are both claiming the other is too liberal, but Camera is straight party line Republican with no original platform, and Al is even more conservative, bordering on Libertarian.

I will be exercising my write-in vote for this race (as well as Guy Reschenthaler), and I want you to consider doing the same for any race where you would like to protest the available candidates

Political violence is never the answer. Resorting to vigilantism undermines the foundation of law and order, leading to instability for all.

To ensure quality representation, those in public service must have an assurance of safety. Creating an unsafe environment is counterproductive to the goal of attracting high-quality candidates to office.

True progress is achieved through active, peaceful involvement. I encourage everyone to be the change they wish to see by supporting their neighbors and engaging in open, respectful discussions. Violence is never the answer.

I am unsure how or if mainstream media will cover this. Authorarian near dictator Viktor Orban is listed as prime minister of Hungary as his Fidez (Hungarian civic alliance) party loses half of their seats, and new Tisza (respect and freedom party) gains a supermajority

Orban has long been the poster child of authoritarian regimes, and a roadmap or playbook example of how to instate authoritarian powers.
even if this is not long lasting, this is a win for democracy, in europe and around the world
