REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
CEMETERY MAINTENANCE

The City of McRae-Helena is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the maintenance of City cemeteries totaling approximately 23.16 acres. Bid packets may be picked up at McRae-Helena City Hall. Completed proposals must be submitted on the appropriate form and turned in at McRae-Helena City Hall no later than 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Monday, September 14, 2026. The contractor must maintain general liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $1,000,000 and workers' compensation insurance with a minimum coverage of $100,000 and furnish proof of such insurance. Questions regarding the proposal or scope of work should be directed to John Deep, Heather Stokes, or Joe Page at 229-868-6051. The City of McRae-Helena complies with all Equal Employment Opportunity requirements.

Attached is the bid packet to be completed by any interested companies or individuals.

‼ATTENTION‼
If you reside in the area located in the red square on the map your trash pick up day will be moving from Monday to Thursday starting October 1st 2026. Again this will ONLY affect those that live in the area in the red square on the map.

We will be closed for Labor Day on September 7th, 2026. Ryland Environmental will still pick trash up that day if you are on the Monday route. Thanks!

We will be having our Trunk or Treat October 23rd. We know it is still early but we want anyone that is interested in this event to have time to prepare. With that being said if any local businesses, churches, etc are interested in participating please reach out to Alexis at City Hall. Lets make this a fun event for EVERYONE!!
