Welcome Kayla. We are excited to have you.

If you need an appointment, please call 8687404. When you call, message or text our personal cell phones, we may not see it automatically. Also, if we tell you to come, our clerks may have told someone else to come at the same time, which causes a longer wait time. We try not to have our cell phones with us while we are seeing patients because as you deserve our attention, others deserve our attention as well. Please be considerate and call the office if you need appt, want to ask a question or need to speak to a nurse. We do check voicemail periodically throughout the day. We sometimes get 10 to 15 personal messages. We love all of our patients and want to serve the community as best we can, but if we are constantly answering our cell phone texts and messages we cannot give everyone the care they deserve.. Thank you for your understanding and thank you for choosing Telfair County Health Department.

Also, do not forget the drive thru flu clinic on 10-03-2019 from 10-2. at Faith Baptist Church in the back parking lot. Just bring your insurance card or a copy and we will fix you up. We love Telfair County and work really hard to keep you all healthy.
2017 Drive through was a huge success. Yall come on back now.

School flu and Drive through flu clinic planning are underway. The packets for school flu have been sent to the printer and should be sent home in a couple of weeks. We have not designated a time for the school flu because we have not received all of the vaccines from the state. Remember if you do not have insurance, the vaccine is given at no cost if given at school. Do not let the flu catch up with you. Drive through plans are also underway. Remember, if you do not want the shot, please drive through anyway so we can count you in the assessment. Thank you for choosing and supporting TCHD. These vaccines will cost $25.00 unless you have a health dept billable insurance.

All satellite offices and health departments of the South Central Health District will be closed until further notice due to public health’s role in staffing hurricane evacuation shelters. This includes Telfair County Health Dept. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
