Updates on support available for people of Medina County:

First: There will be a food distribution at the Medina County Fairgrounds on Thursday, April 2 @ 7:30 am. Please bring a picture ID and stay in your car you will be directed on how to drive up and get food.

Second: Here is an opportunity for older adults who might need some help with grocery shopping during this time.
Thought this might be helpful:

Senior shopping options available through Buehler's
The Medina County Office for Older Adults has partnered with Buehler’s Fresh Foods to offer a specialized shopping option for seniors in Medina County.
There are three grocery stores in the area: Medina Forest Meadows, Medina River Styx and Wadsworth.
This is how the program works: A homebound senior would call the Office for Older Adults. The agency will contact a volunteer in the community to be the personal shopper for the senior. That volunteer will contact the senior directly to get a shopping list.
The volunteer will go to one of the Buehler’s stores and fulfill the shopping list.
A customer service representative will then contact the senior from Buehler’s to facilitate payment over the phone for the requested items.
The volunteer will drop off the groceries and a receipt in a safe and healthy manner.
Seniors are asked not to take unsolicited phone calls and instead contact the Office for Older Adults directly at (330) 723-9514 to request help.

Please know that FMC is not doing food distributions from our building at this time instead we are coordinating the weekly distribution at the fairgrounds.

As always we are grateful for any monetary donations that will go to support our efforts as we continue to feed children, elderly and families across Medina County.
