The Hall County Clerk’s office will be closed tomorrow morning in honor of DPS Trooper Sergio Romero’s funeral service. Not only was Sergio our colleague, he was our friend that we thought of as family. We will also be closed on Wednesday for his Memorial Service in Childress.
Please join us in praying for his wife and sons, his family, his friends and our community.

Please join me in praying for the family of DPS Trooper Sergio Romero, who was killed in the line of duty today near Childress while serving and protecting his fellow Texans.

Trooper Romero leaves behind his wife, two young children, and countless friends and colleagues who are grieving this tremendous loss. As a member of DPS Recruit Class B-2025, he answered the call to serve and made the ultimate sacrifice in that service.

May God comfort his loved ones, his DPS family, and all who knew him.
