💥 CONGRATULATIONS 💥

Earlier today, Deputy Ryan Byram graduated from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy (TLETA) in Nashville, TN.

TLETA is an intensive 12-week program that challenges law enforcement officers both physically and mentally. The academy includes extensive instruction in physical fitness, defensive tactics, emergency vehicle operations, fi****ms, search and seizure, constitutional law and many other essential areas of law enforcement.

Please join us in congratulating Deputy Ryan Byram on this outstanding accomplishment. We are proud to welcome him back home and look forward to his service to our citizens.

Congrats, Deputy Byram!!!

⚠️⚠️ THIRD WRECK JUST OCCURRED. Crews are now working a second wreck at Hwy. 51 @ Commercial Drv...one in the north bound and one in the south bound.

The wreck at Hwy. 51 and Joe Joyner is also still active. ⚠️⚠️

⚠️⚠️ MULTIPLE CRASHES⚠️⚠️

Deputies along with several other law enforcement agencies and Fire/EMS personnel are on the scene of two separate crashes in the same area. The crashes have multiple vehicles involved in each crash.

One crash is on Hwy. 51 @ Joe Joyner Rd. and the other is on Hwy. 51 @ Commercial Drive (near Watson Rd.)...very close to one another.

🚧 Traffic is down to one lane and may at times be stopped. ⚠️TRY TO AVOID THIS AREA ⚠️ and use an alternate route if feasible as crews continue to work both crashes.

Last night, I had the pleasure of speaking with the ladies of the Junior Auxiliary of Tipton County about our Autism Awareness Program and how it helps First Responders better serve individuals with autism during an emergency situation or other encounters.

Thank you for the invitation, the thoughtful questions and suggestions and your continued commitment to the families of Tipton County. We appreciate your partnership and support! 💙

🔥🔥 FIELD FIRE 🔥🔥

Tipton County Fire Department and Covington, TN Fire Department are on the scene of a large field on fire on Leighs Chapel Rd at Yarbrough Rd, northwest of Covington.

Please try to avoid this area as fire personnel continue to battle the fire. It appears as though the field has thankfully been harvested at this time.
