Y'all know my opinion about this. We are near the bottom for living standards in the entire country but we have abundant water, lush forests and good farmland, and relatively clean air. I don't want to see Tennessee contaminated with radioactivity. Radioactivity sticks around for a long, long time and some of the breakdown products are highly poisonous. Radioactive waste products belong in the desert, where they won't contaminate aquifers and there are no tornadoes and earthquakes which can potentially release the waste (read up about Fukishima and Chernobyl). They belong in areas with no or sparse populations. If you agree that we must keep Tennessee radioactivity free, vote blue.

Tennessee is one of five states selected as a potential site to accept nuclear waste from around the country in exchange for federal assistance, according to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). If selected, the DOE said the project could bring up to $50 billion in capital investment, generate as much as $10 billion in state and local tax revenue, and create nearly 25,000 jobs. ➡️ https://tinyurl.com/7frym7rf
